Who is Grandpa Jack?
To start with, I am a grandpa, and my name is Jack. I’ve been happily married to my dear wife Cheri for the past 40 years. We have three wonderful children with awesome spouses and 14 super grandchildren. Currently we work with my son as missionaries in Honduras in Central America. We previously were missionaries for 18 years with Bearing Precious Seed (of Milford Ohio) in El Paso, Texas.
So what is this blog about? It’s about hope, encouragement, peace, love, joy, honor, and even some laughter (we just don’t seem to get enough of that these days).
God-stories that most have never heard that will thrill and inspire you. And, how and why they happened. I’ll talk about life and living it, with lots of real-life examples. One statement I have made countless times, is “God is a Good God, Who does Good things”. My grandchildren need to believe that. It is not something I think. It is something I know. And with this blog, I intend on proving that.
This is not a political blog…. and never will be. There will always be plenty of those around.
Basically, my goal is to encourage everyone who is willing to read this, and maybe I can’t do that, but it sure is worth a try!
